Royal baby news: Princess Beatrice’s royal baby announcement could be ‘imminent’ | Royal | New
The birth of Beatrice’s baby would mark Her Majesty’s 12th great-grandchild and the King’s first child with her husband Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi. Beatrice already has a stepson named Wolfie from Edoardo’s previous relationship.
The 33-year-old will be the fourth royal baby this year, and in a statement released earlier this year, Buckingham Palace confirmed Princess Beatrice’s baby is due in the fall.
The birth in 2021 follows August Philip Hawke Brooksbank born to Beatrice’s sister, Princess Eugenie and her partner Jack Brooksbank, Lucas Philip Tindall born to Zara and Mike Tindall, and Lilibet Diana Mountbatten-Windsor, the second child of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle.
The arrival of Beatrice’s baby has been speculated by a royal expert, who reported that the princess was in a London hospital.
Royal Australian Sunrise editor Robert Jobson tweeted on the morning of Sunday, September 19, speculating that the birth of the Queen’s 12th great-grandchild was “imminent”.
The royal contributor for ABC and GMA said: “Princess Beatrice is reportedly in a hospital in London. Looks like the birth of the Queen’s 12th great-grandchild is just around the corner.
Royal fans have expressed their best wishes to Beatrice in the wake of the claims, with some even speculating if she would honor a member of the royal family with the baby’s name, in the same vein as her sister Eugenie.
Princess Eugenie’s baby August Philip Hawke Brooksbank, born in February 2021, got her first name from Queen Victoria‘s husband Prince Albert, whose middle name was Augustus.
As Philip pays homage to Eugenie’s grandfather and August’s great-grandfather, the duke of edinburgh, who died in April at the age of 99.

The princess married Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi, 38, in July 2020 in a social distance marriage, after their original nuptials were canceled due to the coronavirus pandemic.
Fans have spotted Princess Beatrice’s growing baby bump over the summer, including when the senior royal was seen attending Wimbledon with her husband.
The royal was also spotted at a garden party to mark a special anniversary for the Forget Me Not Children’s Hospice, of which the Princess is the patron saint.
Images from the event show the senior royal beaming at a small child, with the baby giving him a delighted toothless smile, an interaction fans will likely see between the royal and his own baby in the future.
