Native man begins driving for Uber after spouse dies
Bruce Deere grew up within the taxi enterprise.
His mother and father had been co-owners of Colonie Checker Taxi, the place he and his brother labored for a number of years.
Deere give up driving about seven years in the past when his spouse Denise fell in poor health with Alzheimer’s. She handed away final July.

Deere says he sometimes drives 40 hours per week. It has taken him everywhere in the Capital Area and day-after-day is a little bit of an journey.

Deere plans to shorten his work week, however says he plans to proceed driving.
