Meghan and Harry’s Platinum Jubilee invites sparks to ‘worry’ the Sussexes could face ‘a lot of snub’ | Royal | New
Meghan Markle and Prince Harry could be made to “feel [like they] are being left out “on the Platinum Jubilee 2022, royal commentators have warned. The Queen will celebrate her 70th birthday on the throne next summer, becoming the first British monarch to do so. Royally Obsessed podcast host Roberta Fiorito and Rachel Bowie, spoke about how The Duke and Duchess of Sussex will fit into the plans.
Ms Fiorito told listeners: “Harry and Meghan have been officially invited to the Platinum Jubilee celebrations next year.
“For me, this is no surprise.
“But the coverage is about the programming on the balcony and whether they will be included up there.
“I think it’s just finding the negativity in that confirmation.”

Ms Bowie added: “I am concerned about the Sussexes being there.
“I feel like there are so many opportunities to look like they’re being snubbed.
“I think one article mentioned that it can only be royals working on the balcony.
“They said no one else could be up there so Harry and Meghan won’t be on the balcony.”
The Queen will pass her most important milestone yet in February.
Throughout the year, she and other members of the Royal Family will travel the country to undertake a variety of engagements to mark this historic occasion.
According to Buckingham Palace, this will culminate with the focal point of Platinum Jubilee Weekend in June.
An extended holiday, June 2-5, has been confirmed.
The four-day celebration will include public and community events, as well as national moments of reflection on the Queen’s 70 years of service.
