Liverpool weather: Met Office predicts exact date snow will hit UK this year
Winter is fast approaching and the weather has already changed.
Temperatures have dropped noticeably in Merseyside in recent weeks and the area is expected to be battered by wind and rain.
As of tonight, the rain will get heavier and heavier in the city and beyond and it will also get “windy” early in the morning, according to the Met Office.

Forecasters expect the snow flurries to fall “as October moves into November” – making the end of the month around October 30 and 31 the most likely dates.
Senior Met Office meteorologist Greg Dewhurst said: “We’re probably going to see snowy weather in the higher areas as October moves into November.
“The areas likely to be affected are the Scottish Highlands as well as the higher lands of northern England and North Wales.
“Low areas are unlikely to see it.
“It’s completely normal at this time of year.
This week’s forecast for the northwest will see heavy rain and winds throughout the week, with warmer temperatures near the weekend.
The Met Office said: “Monday will be a blustery day with a mixture of sunshine and scattered showers.
“Showers will be most frequent in Cumbria and North Lancashire and will be heavy in places with a risk of hail and thunder. Maximum temperature 15 ° C.
“Tonight: Scattered showers early this evening before heavy rain spread from the south with all parts seeing strong gusts of current in the early morning hours.
