“I know it’s going to be tough raising Britain (Fulton’s son),” Fulton’s partner said. “You know, call Britain someday, you know take her somewhere, or whatever, you know, just try to fill the void.”
Fulton was shot and killed on an Uber ride on Wednesday, police said.
They said they arrived at the Chevron gas station on Monroe Dr and found Fulton dead and another seriously injured man.
Fulton and two other passengers along with Uber driver Nigel Nembhard started arguing before the shots were fired by Nembhard.
“I need answers, answers that my son will get out of a car and someone will shoot him in the back, I need to know why,” Fulton’s mother said.
Nembhard is charged with murder.
A start for the family, but something they think should never have happened at the start.
“It’s too easy to get a gun today and it’s not the way of life, we’re so comfortable with cops killing black men and black men killing black men , and it’s time for a change, ”Fulton’s mother said.
