Euro 2020: determined Hungary keeps France in a 1-1 draw
Hungary took a shock lead against France in a thrilling second European Championship Group F game on Saturday, but Antoine Griezmann equalized for a 1-1 draw in the crowded Puskas Arena.
The result gives France four points to temporarily dominate the group until Portugal, who won their first game, face Germany later on Saturday. Hungary is third with one point.

Hungary received a heavy blow when their most experienced skipper and scorer Aadam Szalai was substituted after 26 minutes following a blow to the head. The stunned forward, however, was able to walk away and descend the tunnel on his own.

But roared by more than 60,000 fans, he took the lead in added time of the first half when Attila Fiola combined with Roland Sallai before the full-back rushed to the goal to beat goalkeeper Hugo Lloris with a low shot at the near post.

France equalized in the 66th minute when Kylian Mbappe hid behind defense to grab onto a long bouncing ball from Lloris and although his cross was only half clear, Griezmann was on hand to find the bottom of the fillets.
